The Texas Gas Association (TGA) is the leading organization representing natural gas distribution and transmission companies across the state of Texas. For more than 50 years, TGA has supported the industry through education, advocacy, and collaboration, helping ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of natural gas to millions of Texans.
 

TGA plays a vital role in advancing operational performance, promoting safety, and increasing public awareness of the natural gas industry’s contributions to Texas’ economy and environmental progress. Governed by a seven-member Executive Board, TGA brings together industry leaders to address key challenges, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the natural gas sector.
 

In 2024, TGA proudly commemorated its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of leadership and service to the industry and the communities it serves. Today, the association continues to build on that legacy—supporting its members and advancing the role of natural gas as a critical energy resource for Texas.
